Description
Leaena balssi, also known as the striped cleaner shrimp, is a marine decapod crustacean found predominantly in the western Pacific. Its principal habitat is tropical coral reefs where it maintains a symbiotic relationship with host organisms by removing parasites. The shrimp has a distinctive striped pattern, with alternating bands of red and white across its body.
