Sri Lanka Diaptomid [Allodiaptomus seshaiyai]
Description
Allodiaptomus seshaiyai is a species of calanoid copepod found only in Sri Lanka. They inhabit freshwater bodies and are characterized by their relatively large size and less pronounced red color compared to other species in the genus. They are known to feed on smaller zooplankton and phytoplankton.
