Description
The Spotted Tusk Shell, or Striodentalium stellatum, is a marine mollusk species that belongs to the Scaphopoda class. Recognizable by its cylindrical, tusk-like shell that is open at both ends, this species is typically white with small, brownish or blackish spots. It is generally found in soft, sandy substrates of the ocean floor, predominantly in subtidal zones.
