Description
The Spotted Tube Worm, or Tubulophilinopsis maculata, is a sedentary, filter-feeding worm that resides in marine environments. They live within a self-constructed tube, typically affixed to hard substrates. Spotted Tube Worms are known for their distinctive spotted coloration which provides them with an effective camouflage against predators. They filter feed on small planktonic organisms and organic particles, using their feathery crown of radioles to capture food and transport it to their mouth.
