Spotfin Lionfish [Pterois antennata]
Description
The Spotfin Lionfish is found in the tropical Indian Ocean and Western Pacific. They are nocturnal and hide in crevices during the day. Their body is white or cream colored with light and dark bands. The bands on the head run vertically, one through the eye and one on the cheek. They have long, flowing pectoral and dorsal fins.
