Description
Striodentalium souleyeti, commonly known as the Southern Tusk Shell, is a species of marine scaphopod mollusks. This species is characterized by its long, tubular shell which is open at both ends, and ranges from a pale yellow to a dark brown color. The shell can reach lengths up to 70 mm. The Southern Tusk Shell is usually found in sandy and muddy substrates in deeper marine environments.
