Southern tube worm [Leodice australis]

Description
Leodice australis, or the Southern tube worm, is a marine polychaete worm species in the family Eunicidae, found in the Southern Hemisphere. It is most commonly seen in the waters around Australia and New Zealand. This worm forms a tube in the sediment in which it lives, extending its tentacles out of the tube to capture food. It is known for its unique, bright blue coloration.
