Description
Austroginella rostrata, commonly known as the Southern top shell, is a species of sea snail native to the southern coast of Australia. It inhabits intertidal rocky shores and is characterized by a conical shell that can reach a height of up to 15 mm. The shell's color varies from brown to orange, sometimes with dark spiral bands. This species is mostly herbivorous, feeding on algae.
