Southern red-eyed prawn [Erythrops southerni]

Description
The Southern red-eyed prawn is a mysid shrimp species native to the southern Atlantic Ocean. They are found at depths ranging from 150 to 600 meters. Similar to other species in the Erythrops genus, they also have bright red eyes. They feed on small zooplankton and are known for their swarming behavior, often seen in large groups, especially during feeding time.
