Southern Hairy-Nosed Diaptomid [Ctenodiaptomus morenoi]

Description
The Southern Hairy-Nosed Diaptomid is another freshwater copepod native to the Americas, specifically Argentina. It shares many of the same features as C. anisitsi, including the hairy rostrum and unique leg shape, but is generally found in more southerly latitudes. This species is known to be more tolerant of higher salinity levels than many other freshwater copepods.
