Description
The Smooth Prowfish is a marine fish species also belonging to the family Pataecidae. It is native to the coastal waters of southeastern Australia. The species is known to inhabit rocky reefs and seagrass beds, showing a preference for shallow waters. Unlike its whiskered counterpart, the Smooth Prowfish lacks any form of facial appendages, giving it a 'smooth' appearance.
