Description
The Slope Dragonet is a marine fish species belonging to the family Callionymidae. It is a benthic species, meaning it lives at the bottom of the ocean, specifically in deepwater habitats. Slope Dragonets can be found in the Eastern Pacific from California, USA to central Baja California, Mexico. They are characterized by their elongated, tapering body and a large head with a mouth that extends backwards to the eyes. Their coloration is generally brown with darker spots.
