Skeleton Cup Coral [Phyllangia americana mouchezii]

Description
This species of cup coral, also known as the American Cup Coral, is found in the western Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea. It inhabits crevices and overhangs in hard-bottomed communities. The colonies of this species are small, rarely exceeding 12 cm in height, and they are usually solitary or form small groups. The polyps are white and extend at night to feed.
