Description
Parasimplastrea sheppardi, often referred to as the Simple Coral, is a species of marine stony coral in the family Scleractinia. It is native to the Indian Ocean and the west Pacific Ocean. This species is characterized by its distinct colonies of small, uniform, and tightly packed calices which can be flat, dome-shaped, or encrusting. It is observed in a variety of colors, including cream, brown, and green. The Simple Coral is typically found in shallow reef environments.
