Description

Terebellides stroemii, also known as the Shrubby Trunk Worm, is a marine polychaete worm that can be found in the North Atlantic, Arctic, and Mediterranean Sea. It lives in tubes on soft substrates, such as sand and mud, at depths ranging from the shallow subtidal zone to 200 meters. It is characterized by a segmented, elongated body with numerous small, paddle-like appendages called parapodia on each segment. Its color varies from pale yellow to dark brown.
