Shovelnose Guitarfish [Rhinobatos productus]

Description

This species is known for its long, pointed snout and large, rounded pectoral fins. It lives in the eastern Pacific Ocean, from California to the Gulf of California. The Shovelnose Guitarfish is usually found at the bottom of shallow, coastal waters and it feeds primarily on benthic invertebrates and small fishes.
