Aeolidia papillosa, commonly known as the 'shaggy mouse', is a species of sea slug, more specifically a nudibranch. It is a marine gastropod mollusk that can be found in the north-east Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. This species is identifiable by its greyish, mottled body that often has a tinge of brown. It has cerata that cover its dorsal surface, giving it a 'shaggy' appearance. It feeds mainly on sea anemones.
