Description
This species is a small marine gastropod mollusk in the family Scissurellidae. They are distinguished by their small size and white, conical shell with a deep slit at the rear. They are typically found on rocky substrates in shallow waters and have been reported in the Western Atlantic, from North Carolina to Florida and Texas, as well as in the Gulf of Mexico.
