Description
Schistomysis spiritus is a species of mysid crustaceans found in the Arctic Ocean. This small shrimp-like animal is a part of the marine zooplankton community. It is characterized by a transparent body with small red eye-spots. It spends most of its time in deep water, coming closer to the surface only during the night.
