Description
Sandford's Parrotfish, or Calotomus sandvicensis, is a species of parrotfish found in the central Pacific Ocean, specifically around Hawaii. It is a herbivorous species that feeds on algae and detritus. This species is known for its mottled green and brown coloration and a distinctive pattern of five vertical bars on its side. Like other parrotfish, it can change sex from female to male.
