Description
The Rusty Tube Worm, scientifically known as Fustiaria rubescens, is a marine worm species that inhabits the subtidal rocky reefs and depths of the ocean. This species is characterized by a long, cylindrical body enclosed within a tube made of calcium carbonate. It is distinguished by its reddish-brown color, hence the name Rusty Tube Worm. The worm feeds by extending tentacles out of the tube to filter feed on phytoplankton and detritus.
