Description
The Roundnose Grenadier, or Paracandacia rostrata, is a species of rattail fish that inhabits the deep waters of the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It is known to frequent depths of 800 to 1,200 meters, often dwelling near the seabed. The Roundnose Grenadier features a long, slender body with a rounded snout, large mouth, and long dorsal and anal fins that taper to a whip-like tail.
