Rough harpacticoid [Mucroniphontes ramosus]

Description
The Rough harpacticoid, scientifically known as Mucroniphontes ramosus, is a marine species belonging to the Harpacticoida order of Copepods. They are found in the benthic zone of oceans and are often associated with marine algae. These species have a fairly distinct body shape with a clearly segmented body and a pair of antennae. They are usually less than 1 millimeter in length and have a rough appearance due to the presence of many small spines on their body surface.
