Rosy Lanternfish [Athorybia rosacea]

Description
The Rosy Lanternfish, scientifically known as Athorybia rosacea, is a species of ray-finned fish in the family Myctophidae. They are primarily found in the Atlantic Ocean but can also inhabit the Indo-Pacific waters. They prefer deep, tropical and subtropical waters, and are known to migrate vertically, staying deep during the day and moving closer to the surface at night. As with other lanternfish, they are bioluminescent, with light-producing photophores along their bodies.
