Ross's Gull [Rhodostethia rosea]
Description
Ross's Gull is a small gull species, distinctive due to its pinkish body, white neck and head, and grey wings tipped with black. It has a unique, wedge-shaped tail. The species primarily inhabits the Arctic regions, nesting on coastal cliffs, and migrates south during the winter. It feeds mostly on small fish and invertebrates. It is known for its nomadic behavior, making prediction of its distribution difficult.
