Description
Ringed Tubularia, or Ectopleura dumortieri, is a marine hydroid species found globally in temperate and tropical waters. It is often found in shallow subtidal environments, attached to rocks, shells, and other hard substrates. This species is easily recognizable by its elongated, tube-like body and the bright pink ring of tentacles at its top. It is a solitary species and does not form colonies.
