Description
Haminella oryzae, commonly known as the RedTide Alga, is a marine species belonging to the genus Haminella. It is a free-living photosynthetic bacterium that is found in various marine environments, particularly in areas with high nutrient concentrations. This species is known for its ability to cause red tides, a phenomenon in which the water appears to be red due to a high concentration of the bacteria. It is a unicellular organism with a spherical shape and a diameter of about 2 to 3 micrometers. The RedTide Alga is capable of both photosynthesis and heterotrophic growth.
