Red reef hermit crab [Lophopagurus cyrenaicus]

Description
The Red reef hermit crab, also known as Lophopagurus cyrenaicus, is native to the waters of the Red Sea. This species is distinguishable by its reddish color and large claws. They inhabit coral reef environments and are often found living in discarded shells of other marine creatures. They are omnivores and feed on both plant and animal matter.
