Description
The Red-Lined Snail, scientifically known as Phanerophthalmus lineolatus, is a species of sea snail notable for its thin, elongated shell with red or orange lines. It can be found in the waters of the Indo-Pacific region, particularly in areas with sandy or muddy substrates. This nocturnal marine gastropod mollusk burrows in the sand during the day and comes out to feed on algae and detritus at night.
