Red-legged Kittiwake [Rissa brevirostris]
Description
The Red-legged Kittiwake is a seabird species in the gull family Laridae, it is closely related to the Black-legged Kittiwake. The breeding habitat of the Red-legged Kittiwake is cliffs on islands in the Bering Sea. They have a white body, grey back, grey wings tipped solid black, distinctive red legs and a short, thick black bill. They spend winters in the open ocean and are only rarely seen outside the Bering Sea.
