Description
Monostaechas quadridens, commonly known as the Quadriserial hydroid, is a marine species that belongs to the Hydrozoa class. It is commonly found in the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, often at depths between 10 to 30 meters. This species is characterized by its four rows of hydrothecae and is known for its polyp stage, which doesn't have a medusa stage. The polyps are generally small and are either solitary or colonial, with the colonies often forming branched, tree-like structures.
