Description
The Purple Storm Snail or Eutrichobranchus purpuratus is a species of marine gastropod known for its robust, yet elegant purple shell. It is known to inhabit warm, tropical waters and exhibits a distinct behavior of floating on the ocean surface using a raft of bubbles for buoyancy. This species feeds mainly on cnidarians, including the Portuguese man o' war (Physalia physalis).
