Panga [Austroglossus pectoralis]
Description
A species of sole that is native to the southeast Atlantic Ocean, particularly the waters of Namibia and South Africa. They inhabit sandy or muddy bottoms and are characterized by their dark brown upper bodies and white undersides. They can reach a maximum length of 70 cm and are a commercially important species, often targeted in trawling fisheries.
