Painted Topshell [Vitta zonaria]

Description
The Painted Topshell is a small marine gastropod mollusk that can reach a size of up to 3 cm. Its shell is glossy with bright color bands. It is commonly found in the Mediterranean and the eastern Atlantic Ocean, from Norway to the Canary Islands. They are usually found in rocky areas, grazing on algae.
