Description

Peristromenus pheasant, commonly known as Painted Shrimpgoby, is a species native to the tropical waters of the western Pacific Ocean. They inhabit sandy bottoms of coral reefs and are known for their symbiotic relationship with snapping shrimps. The Painted Shrimpgoby is small and slender with a distinctive pheasant-like pattern on the body.
