Painted Frogfish [Antennarius pictus]
Description
The Painted Frogfish is a small, globular fish found in the warm, tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region. It is recognized by its wart-like skin and ability to change color to blend with its surroundings. It has a lure on its head which is used to attract prey. This species is usually found on coral reefs or rocky habitats, but it can also be found in estuaries and lagoons.
