Pacific spio [Spio benedicti]
Description
Spio benedicti, the Pacific spio, is a marine polychaete endemic to the Pacific Ocean. It is known for its long, slender body and its habit of living in tubes in the sandy seafloor. Like other species in its genus, it is a deposit feeder.
