Pacific Sea Slug [Gastropteron pacificum]

Description
This species of sea slug is found mainly in the Pacific Ocean. They are characterized by their small size, typically less than 3 cm, and their distinct color patterns. Pacific sea slugs are known for their peculiar behavior of flapping their parapodia, which are lateral outgrowths on their body, while moving. They are benthic animals, preferring to dwell in shallow coastal waters, especially on sandy substrates.
