Description
The One-toothed ragworm, scientifically known as Rhynchospio glutaea, is a marine worm species found in the shallow subtidal zones. This species is characterized by a brown or reddish-brown body with 24–27 segments and a small posterior appendage. It has a unique feeding mechanism that involves eversible pharynx with one large tooth. They are typically found inhabiting muddy and sandy substrates.
