Description
The Northern Pigmy Squid is a species of small cephalopod found in the North Atlantic Ocean. Similar in size and appearance to its southern counterpart, this species is distinguished by its slightly darker pigmentation and its preference for colder waters. The Northern Pigmy Squid is primarily nocturnal, and spends most of the day buried in the seabed to avoid predators.
