Northern Lychnagalma [Lychnagalma europa]

Description
The Lychnagalma europa, or Northern Lychnagalma, is a species found in the Arctic Ocean. Just like its Antarctic counterpart, this species is also bioluminescent and uses its light production for various purposes. The Northern Lychnagalma has a bell-shaped body but is slightly larger, with a diameter of up to 2 cm. Its tentacles are shorter than those of the Antarctic Jellyfish and have a different coloration, often appearing in shades of blue or purple.
