Mediterranean Sagartiogeton [Sagartiogeton viduatus]

Description
The Mediterranean Sagartiogeton is a species of sea anemone that is native to the Mediterranean Sea. It is similar in size and shape to the Northern Sea Anemone, but it is typically a more subdued colour, often white or pale yellow. It inhabits rocky substrates in the subtidal zone and feeds on a variety of small marine organisms. Its tentacles are shorter and more numerous than those of the Northern Sea Anemone.
