The Mediterranean Ling, or Ninoe histrio, is a marine species found in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. They prefer rocky bottoms and are known to dwell at depths ranging from 15 to 500 meters. The species is characterized by its elongated body, a long dorsal fin, and a large mouth with strong teeth. They are predatory fish, feeding on smaller fish and invertebrates.
