Mantellum Pipefish [Mantellum piscisflute]

Description
The Mantellum Pipefish is a slender, elongated species that is closely related to the seahorse. They live in a variety of habitats, from the open ocean to the seagrass beds of coastal regions. Like the seahorse, male pipefish carry the eggs. They are carnivorous animals, feeding on small crustaceans, fish larvae, and worms. They are known for their ability to change color to blend in with their surroundings, making them difficult to spot.
