Lumpy Sponge [Geodia gibberosa]

Description
Geodia gibberosa, also known as Lumpy Sponge, is a species of marine demosponge prevalent in the waters of the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. They are large, irregularly shaped sponges, often growing more than 30 cm in diameter. They have a rough, lumpy surface and are usually beige or brown in color.
