Description

Leptognathia longicornis, commonly known as Longtail Tanaid, is a marine species found predominantly in the Atlantic Ocean. They are detritivores, feeding on organic material found in the sediment. They have a unique reproductive behavior where the male carries the fertilized eggs until they hatch.
