Description

The Longnose Batfish, with the scientific name Dolopichthys longicornis, is a species of batfish in the family Ogcocephalidae. It's primarily found in the Atlantic Ocean, specifically in the western parts of the Central Atlantic, ranging from the Bahamas and the Gulf of Mexico to northern South America. This species is characterized by a long rostrum and a compressed body. Its color varies from brown to reddish-brown and it often has large pale blotches.
