Description
The Longfin Flasher Wrasse is a small species, usually not exceeding 8cm in length. This species is characterized by its elongated dorsal fin rays, which are particularly pronounced in males during their courtship displays. It is native to the western Pacific, specifically the waters around Indonesia, where it inhabits coral reefs and adjacent sandy areas. The male Longfin Flasher Wrasse is known for its vibrant blue and red coloration, while the female is more subdued in color.
