Little White Venus [Mesoginella subplicata]

Description
This species is native to the waters of the Western Atlantic, particularly the Gulf of Mexico. The Little White Venus is a small bivalve, with a shell measuring up to 7 millimeters. The shell is white, glossy, and has concentric ridges. It inhabits soft substrates in shallow waters.
