Little tern [Sternula albifrons]

Description

The Little tern is the smallest of terns, widely distributed across the world, seen near sea, rivers or lakes. They feed by plunge-diving for fish, but insects, crustaceans and worms also form part of their diet. The species has a white forehead and yellow bill with a black tip.
